Amanda McAlpin is the Batteries and Critical Materials Recycling Supply Chain Deployment Manager at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), where she plays a pivotal role in strengthening and securing domestic manufacturing and energy supply chains. Her portfolio at DOE includes battery collection programs,.

Before joining the DOE, Amanda dedicated over a decade to advanced energy projects at Argonne National Laboratory. As a Technology Integration Program Manager, she led a diverse portfolio, including transportation and workforce development initiatives such as the Clean Cities University Workforce Development Program and the Clean Ports Working Group. Her work at Argonne showcased her ability to drive impactful projects at the intersection of technology and economic development.

Amanda's career in communication, energy, and transportation also includes her time at New West Technologies in Washington, D.C., where she led a team providing research and communication expertise to the federal government.
