Renata Arsenault

Renata Arsenault is Ford Motor Co.’s Technical Expert Value Chain, Battery Cell Materials and Recycling. Based at Ford Ion Park, Ford’s Battery Center of Excellence, she has been interfacing closely with battery and material suppliers, recyclers and other industry members since 2006. She is involved in multiple facets of Supply Chain and Sustainability at Ford, working with internal and external partners (industry, academia and government) to bring the energy transition to fruition sustainably. She has served as PM for numerous USABC programs, is Chairman Emeritus of NAATBatt International, co-chair of NAATBatt’s Battery Recycling Committee, and has managed projects with multiple universities in Ford’s University Research program. After graduating from Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada with a B. of Sc. in Chemical Engineering, Renata spent 1989-1998 working in specialty chemicals for Diversey/Diversey-Lever where she led process development and scale-up of specialty products in North America.
