Professional Bio
Nitin Tayagi is a technology and energy storage leader with extensive experience bringing advanced technologies from concept to commercial scale. He currently serves as Principal, Energy Storage Strategy at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he focuses on advancing energy storage solutions to support data center growth, resilience, and next-generation power infrastructure.
Previously, Nitin held leadership roles at Rivian and Apple, overseeing global supply chains, launching major electric vehicle and consumer technology products, and advancing battery innovation. With 32 granted patents worldwide and a master’s degree in Materials Science, his expertise spans lithium-ion batteries, long-duration energy storage, fuel cells, and emerging energy technologies.
Nitin has also served on corporate boards and advised technology companies. He is a frequent speaker on battery innovation, supply chains, electrification, and the future of energy infrastructure.
