Dr. Rashid Farahati is Vice President of the Corporate Competence Center Americas at Schaeffler Group USA and an entrepreneurial technology leader with more than 30 years of experience turning breakthrough ideas into commercial products. He builds and leads high-performing teams of scientists, engineers, and industry experts to advance new technologies from concept and scientific discovery through development, manufacturing scale-up, and commercialization.
His work focuses on all-solid-state batteries and emerging technologies for automotive, industrial, and robotics applications. Dr. Farahati also builds strategic business partnerships with OEMs, technology companies, startups, universities, and research institutions to accelerate innovation and develop new technology platforms and business opportunities.
