Organization Overview
We work with teams to develop practical strategies that help products successfully navigate the “valley of death” between development and commercialization, where slow sales, delayed permitting, weak technical documentation, or product recalls can stall momentum and damage customer confidence. By addressing these challenges early, we help companies reduce risk, avoid costly surprises, and bring products to market with stronger engineering credibility and a clearer path to success.
Belay Energy Solutions brings extensive experience in battery engineering, large-scale fire testing, hazard analysis, and product safety across ESS, EV, micro-mobility, tools, and consumer battery products.
We actively participate in industry standards organizations, including NFPA and SAE, and regularly speak at conferences and technical events focused on battery safety, testing, and failure behavior. Our team also provides technical training for manufacturers, engineering teams, first responders, and organizations looking to better understand battery systems and real-world safety challenges.
Our training programs are known for making complex technical topics practical and understandable, with many attendees describing them as some of the most valuable battery safety and engineering classes they have attended.
We bring extensive experience in lithium-ion battery systems, BMS design, large-scale fire safety testing, thermal runaway analysis, hazard assessment, and certification strategy under UL and NFPA standards, across ESS, EV, micromobility, tools, and consumer battery products. We work directly with permitting authorities, fire marshals, and insurers to build the engineering evidence that speeds approvals and earns stakeholder confidence.
Our team actively participates in standards development through NFPA and SAE and regularly presents at industry conferences on battery safety and failure behavior. We also deliver hands-on technical training that turns complex battery science into practical knowledge your engineers, manufacturers, or first responders can put to use.
