The Lithium-Ion Battery That Isn’t Afraid of Empty

Most lithium-ion batteries hate being empty. C-BATT is changing that.

By blending just 10% Obsidia™ into a conventional graphite anode, C-BATT enables otherwise standard lithium-ion cells to operate at unusually low voltage. This unique capability is designed to extend shelf life, endure punishing charge-discharge cycles, and improve battery safety when cells are stored or repeatedly driven toward their limits—all without reinventing the rest of the battery.

Launching later in 2026, Obsidia is built for military ground vehicles, robots, soldier-borne systems, and marine platforms, with strong potential for demanding grid applications.

Obsidia puts resilience where battery failure often begins: deep inside the anode.
