easyXAFS brings fully automated X-ray absorption fine structure (XAFS) spectroscopy to the battery sector, delivering element-specific oxidation-state and local-structure information directly within development and manufacturing workflows. Our systems characterize battery precursors, electrode laminates, solid-state electrolytes, and complete pouch cells. Automated sample handling supports high-throughput screening and quality control, and operando measurements follow working cells through cycling and capacity fade. Teams can track transition-metal valence in NMC and other cathode chemistries, dopant and impurity speciation, and electrolyte structure on their own schedule, without waiting for synchrotron access.
