Company description: Elevated Materials is focused on scaling breakthrough battery technologies to accelerate global decarbonization and electrification. Elevated Materials was established in February 2025 as a carve-out from Applied Materials following ten years of internal development. The company draws on decades of expertise in semiconductors and roll-to-roll vacuum deposition to deliver the industry’s widest and highest-quality, ultra-thin lithium films. Elevated’s lithium films boost energy density, extend battery life, and enable significantly faster charge times across all lithium-ion battery applications and anode chemistries. This technology is being commercialized today with R&D in Sunnyvale, California and manufacturing in Alzenau, Germany.
