Interco is a global leader in the recycling of electric vehicle and consumer electronics lithium-ion batteries. The company has leveraged its 25+ years of expertise sourcing, processing, and marketing industrial metals such as copper, aluminum, and stainless steel to become an international market leader. Interco developed high-volume, low-cost patented methodologies to service the major battery OEMs and Auto Manufacturers.
As early as 2013 Interco began dismantling, discharging, and processing EV batteries early in the energy revolution. Since that time, the Interco team has established a deep knowledge and understanding of the entire critical metals supply chain ? the suppliers, producers, and generators ? on a global scale. Interco produces end-products to produce sulphates and carbonates that are re-channeled directly into the battery supply chain. The process establishes the only true closed-loop solution in the marketplace.
In Q3 2023, Interco will unveil an expanded 200,000+ sq. ft. Critical Mineral Recovery? lithium-ion battery recycling plant. The state-of-the-art facility will have a capacity of more than 60,000 tons per year.
