LG Electronics Production Engineering Research Institute (LG PRI) is a global engineering, automation, and smart manufacturing organization within LG Electronics, providing turnkey solutions for battery manufacturing facilities worldwide.
For more than 60 years, LG Electronics PRI has supported LG Group affiliates, including LG Energy Solution, LG Innotek, and LG Display, by developing and deploying advanced manufacturing equipment, automation systems, robotics, logistics solutions, and manufacturing software. Through decades of experience across diverse industries and production environments, we have built strong expertise in delivering integrated manufacturing solutions spanning hardware, software, system integration, commissioning, and production ramp-up.
In the battery industry, LG Electronics PRI has supported more than 260 battery production lines globally, including 76 production lines delivered in the United States. Our experience spans the entire battery manufacturing value chain, including electrode manufacturing, cell assembly, module and pack assembly, logistics automation, quality inspection, and end-of-line operations.
