Organization Overview

Revolt Recycle is building an integrated lithium-ion battery recycling campus in the Mid-South region, at the heart of the Southeast’s fast-growing battery and electric vehicle corridor. Our purpose is to keep the critical materials inside spent and scrapped batteries in North America, returning them to the supply chain as clean, traceable feedstock for the next generation of cells.
We are developing the campus in two phases. The first is a mechanical pre-processing plant designed to handle 14,000 to 17,000 tonnes of batteries a year. It will safely receive, discharge, dismantle and separate end-of-life EV and energy storage batteries, gigafactory scrap, and damaged, defective and recalled packs, recovering black mass, copper and aluminum. The second phase adds a co-located hydrometallurgical refinery that will convert roughly 10,000 tonnes of black mass a year into battery-grade nickel, cobalt and lithium products. Operations are targeted to begin in 2028 and 2029 respectively.
For manufacturers, dealers, salvage operators and energy storage owners, we offer a safe, compliant and nearby home for their batteries, backed by full chain-of-custody records. For refiners and cathode producers, we offer a dependable domestic source of recycled material whose origin is documented at every step.
Revolt Recycle was founded by engineers who have spent their careers building and commissioning heavy industrial process lines. That experience shapes everything we do: safety, permitting and traceability are designed in from the first drawing, not added at the end.
We are joining NAATBatt to work alongside manufacturers, researchers and policymakers in building a secure, circular North American battery supply chain, and to contribute a practical engineering perspective to that shared effort.
Company Synopsis
Revolt Recycle LLC is a Mid-South based lithium-ion battery recycling company building domestic capacity to return critical battery materials to the U.S. supply chain. The company’s leadership has hands-on experience in industrial electrification, process-line commissioning and delivering large capital projects. It is developing a phased spoke-and-hub recycling platform in the Mid-South.

Phase 1 is a mechanical pre-processing facility. It will safely receive, discharge, shred and separate end-of-life batteries, production scrap, and damaged, defective and recalled (DDR) packs into black mass, a concentrate containing lithium, nickel, cobalt, manganese and graphite. Phase 2 will add hydrometallurgical refining to recover battery-grade metal salts, linking collection directly to cathode material supply.

Revolt Recycle will serve automotive dealers, salvage and fleet operators, energy storage owners and cell manufacturers that need a compliant, traceable outlet for their batteries close to home. The company focuses on safe logistics and handling, full chain-of-custody documentation, and environmental compliance under federal and state hazardous waste rules.

Revolt Recycle is joining NAATBatt International to work with manufacturers, recyclers, researchers and policymakers building a secure, circular North American battery value chain, and to bring a practical engineering perspective to that work.
