Organization Overview
RIT's Battery Development Center provides Prototyping and Testing Services for over 10 years. The Prototyping Lab can manufacture coin, cylindrical and pouch cells up to 25Ah in multiple formats and chemistries. The 18,000sf test lab in Kodak park provides accredited performance and life-cycle tests on cells, modules and packs up to 1500V, safety and abuse testing, and system functional tests.
