Dustin Krause

Dustin Krause is Vice President of Recycling Business at Redwood Materials, where he leads commercial strategy, partnerships, and growth for the company’s battery recycling business across North America. His work focuses on building closed-loop supply chains for lithium-ion batteries, developing strategic partnerships with automotive, consumer electronics, energy storage, and industrial customers, and scaling domestic sources of critical battery materials.

Prior to joining Redwood, Dustin held commercial and business development leadership roles at Tesla and Volkswagen, where he worked across electric vehicles, battery supply chains, and emerging mobility platforms. At Redwood, he helps bridge commercial execution, product strategy, and operational scale as the company expands its recycling, refining, and battery materials footprint.

Dustin is focused on advancing practical, scalable solutions for battery circularity — turning end-of-life batteries and manufacturing scrap into a reliable domestic supply of critical materials for the next generation of electrification.
