About the Omni La Costa Resort
NAATBatt’s fifteenth annual meeting and conference will be held at the historic Omni La Costa Resort in Carlsbad, California. Tucked inside a Spanish Mission-style property, the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa offers eight swimming pools, two golf courses, a world-class spa and wellness center founded by Deepak Chopra, a tennis complex with 17 courts, a variety of upscale shopping and an extensive children’s program called Kidtopia. The 400-acre resort is located between Carlsbad and Encinitas, about 30 miles north of downtown San Diego and the San Diego International Airport. The resort includes more than 110,000 square feet of meeting space and a 24-hour business center.

NAATBatt International, the trade association for advanced battery technology in North America, is holding its 15th annual meeting & conference at the Omni La Costa Resort in Carlsbad, California on February 19 – 22, 2024.

NAATBatt’s 7th Annual Advanced Battery Golf Tournament
The 7th Annual NAATBatt Advanced Battery Golf Tournament on the Legends Course at the Omni La Costa Resort in Carlsbad, California. The Legends Course is a parkland-style course that features mature trees, gentle doglegs, and places a premium on accuracy off the tee. Holes 10-18 were used in the PGA TOUR rotation.
The Legends Course was designed by Dick Wilson in 1965 and re-designed by Pascuzzo & Pate in 2011 and 2013. The Omni La Costa was included among the Best Golf Resorts in the Americas by Golf Digest in 2021. Golf Magazine placed it among the Top 100 Golf Resorts in North America in 2020. The Omni La Costa Resort will be the home of the NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Golf Championships in 2024-2026.
For attendees who love the game of golf, NAATBatt’s Advanced Battery Golf Tournament is not to be missed. The tournament will be organized in a scramble format. All levels of skill are welcome. But the tournament is about more than just golf. It is a great opportunity to spend quality time with old friends and new potential contacts in the battery industry. NAATBatt's 6th Annual Advanced Battery Racquets Tournament
NAATBatt 2024 will feature the 6th Annual Advanced Battery Racquets Tournament at the Omni La Costa Resort. This year the tournament will add the option of pickleball as well as tennis. Attendees will select to play either pickleball or tennis at the time of registration. Both the tennis and the pickleball will be structured as a Switch Doubles event. Matches are 6 games but players change doubles partner every 2 games, ensuring they play with every player on the court. Players record individually how many games they win per match. Players of all levels are welcome.
The Advanced Battery Racquets Tournament is a perfect way to meet and socialize with fellow attendees of NAATBatt 2023. All that is required to participate is a love of racquet sports or a disdain for golf. Attendance at the Tournament Dinner on Monday is included in the price.

Spouses and Companions Program
NAATBatt 2024 attendees are urged to bring their spouses and companions to the NAATBatt 2024 meeting. Spouses and companions are an important part of the advanced battery community. We welcome their role in building personal relationships among families in the industry.
The $350 basic Spouses/Companion program fee includes the right to attend all conference meals and receptions (excluding the Tournament Dinner on Monday evening) during the program, including the Annual Awards Dinner on Wednesday evening.
NAATBatt will also arrange additional optional activities for spouses and companions off-site on Wednesday, February 21, and Thursday, February 22. Those events have included trips to museums, restaurants, botanic gardens, historic sites, and nature preserves. Check back on this page soon for details. Some of the additional optional activities may involve an extra charge.
