Company Synopsis
Crystron is a clean technology company with a mission to drive energy independence through advanced battery materials. We have developed a novel Lithium-ion based cathode active material (CAM) that addresses critical shortcomings in current lithium iron phosphate (LFP) supply chain and production in the US. Our CAM reduces reliance on foreign-controlled inputs, lowers production costs, and enables more sustainable manufacturing pathways.
The U.S. battery ecosystem remains exposed to supply chain concentration and limited domestic processing capacity. Crystron CAM introduces a distinct chemistry platform that enables supply chain diversification while maintaining strong performance characteristics for commercial and industrial applications. Compared to conventional chemistries such as LFP, Crystron CAM offers: domestic sourcing of raw materials , 65% reduction in manufacturing steps, 80% lower energy consumption, 40% reduced in capex and opex, zero solid waste and zero water usage. These attributes position Crystron CAM as a cost-effective, sustainable, and domestically scalable alternative for large-scale battery deployment.
