The platform reports what is happening inside the mix continuously, rather than from grab samples pulled and analyzed after the batch has moved on. Reported states include homogeneity, agglomeration onset, and the sources of viscosity drift. The aim is prediction and prevention, not post-mortem. The measurement is non-destructive, and the underlying physics is not specific to any one chemistry or formulation.
The platform is governed. When conditions fall outside the range in which a measurement can be made reliably, the platform is designed to withhold the result and say so, rather than report a number it cannot support. In an environment where acting on bad data costs more than acting on no data, that is the distinction that matters.
Quantasonix is a development-stage company whose validation work is conducted through sponsored research and direct consulting relationships with faculty at leading research universities. The company operates from the Advanced Technology Development Center in Atlanta, Georgia, and from Carmel, Indiana.
