Company Synopsis
The United Steelworkers (USW) is North America?s largest manufacturing union. Our members work in steel, aluminum, energy, paper and forestry, mining, oil, chemical, rubber, plastics, glass, and advanced manufacturing industries that play a vital role in the changes needed to protect our climate. The USW has recently worked with more than a dozen employers in industries ranging from glass and cement to steel and paper to provide support as they apply for grant funding for a variety of projects in renewable energy, decarbonization, and emissions reduction. Our ongoing work in this area has resulted in a series of grant awards thanks to these collaborations.
