NAATBatt Launches Market Report Series

Posted By: Jim Greenberger Association Updates,

I am pleased to announce that NAATBatt launched this week the first in a series of quarterly Market Reports on different sectors of the advanced battery market.  The first report is on the energy storage needs of data centers.  Each report will provide a detailed analysis of the targeted sector, providing actionable intelligence, competitive analysis and forward-looking data to NAATBatt member firms.  The reports are proprietary to NAATBatt and will be available to NAATBatt member firms only.  Access to them is an important benefit of NAATBatt membership.

NAATBatt engages leading market analyst and management consulting firms to prepare these reports based on their expertise in the sector being studied.  NAATBatt members will get to see the work products of these analysts and consultants compared side to side.  This comparison provides a great way for NAATBatt members to select which firms they may want to engage for future proprietary projects of their own.

NAATBatt members determine which market sectors will be studied.  The subjects of the reports will be determined by the Strategic Alignment Committee of the NAATBatt Board of Directors with active input from all NAATBatt members.  The goal of this program is to have NAATBatt members collectively get access to the work product of leading analysts and consultants for a fraction of the price of purchasing that work product directly.

The NAATBatt Market Report Series is group buying at its best.  NAATBatt membership dues are low.  NAATBatt has not raised the level of its membership dues in 17 years.  Now that NAATBatt membership includes access to Market Reports worth tens of thousands of dollars each, a NAATBatt membership is the best bargain in the history of the battery industry.  See: https://www.naatbatt.org/membership-information

The first quarterly report is a study of the energy storage market for data centers, which was prepared by Avicenne Energy.  The report, at 162 pages in length, is possibly the most detailed survey of the energy storage market for data centers ever done.  Data centers will be a major driver of the energy storage and advanced battery markets in the years ahead.  If you are in the business of energy storage or advanced battery technology, you need to read this report.  And you need to read it before your competitor does.

The next quarterly Market Report will be on the subject of the viability of manufacturing LFP CAM and pre-CAM materials in the United States.  That report should be available to NAATBatt members in the late summer or early fall 2026.  The NAATBatt Strategic Alignment Committee is already considering commissioning the two Market Reports to follow.

NAATBatt members wanting access to the data center Market Report and all future Market Reports can get that access at: https://www.naatbatt.org/market-reports.  For non-members, access to the reports is immediate following completion of an application for NAATBatt membership at:  https://www.naatbatt.org/membership-information  Don’t wait.
